Experienced Supervisor with a demonstrated history of working in the paper & forest products industry. Skilled in Budgeting, Operations Management, Procurement, Maintenance Management, and Business Development. Strong professional graduated from H.B.Beal. I am a motivated, energetic supervisor with great inter personal skills. I have completed the Canscott industrial supervisor 3 module course where I achieved a final exam grade of 97%. I have also completed the (EOL) Essentials of Leadership and Canfor sup v100 course. I give 100% to everything I do. I had been with Canfor for 22 years (1994-2016) before accepting a position as Sawmill Supervisor with Western Forest Products in Ladysmith BC. At Canfor Mackenzie Division I was a sawmill chargehand and union member from 1994 until late 2008 when Mackenzie shut down. I transferred to Grande Prairie Division in 2009. I operated jobs in the sawmill and the planer until I won my first posted position as planer stacker. I operated the planer stacker for almost 3 years before being offered and accepting the planer supervisor position in 2013. I believe in a coaching and team building style of supervision, as this is the fundamental key to building a safe and productive workplace. Safety is first and foremost and is the core of any successful operation. I am a member of the health and safety committee and I am committed to building a safe and healthy work environment for the employees on our work site.
