About Troy Pounds
I earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Florida Southern College in 2003, at which time I received a commission in the US Army. During 10 years of service, I was deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq and successfully held numerous interesting positions, including: commander of an aviation company with 148-personnel, flight platoon leader and CH-47 (Chinook) pilot in the Hindu Kush mountains of eastern Afghanistan, foreign military advisor to Iraqi Ministry of the Interior, and instructor in the U.S. Army’s flight training program. In May 2015, I completed the UF MBA with concentrations in Competitive Strategy and Finance. I am currently scheduled to complete the UF DBA in May 2021, with a concentration in Management. Research interests include: Effects of unethical & abusive leadership and incivility in organizations.
