I am a System Administrator\ Systems Engineer with extensive experience in working with businesses to create fit for purpose network design solutions within tight timescales in high-pressure environments. I have extensive experience working on hardware and software installations and am highly skilled in configuration, installation and support. I can translate business requirements, and design impactful solutions to respond to problems while meeting security standards and ensuring competitiveness. I have worked in numerous industries including Information and Communication Technologies, Retail and Gaming, and have also worked in the Healthcare industry where I supported the relocation of a data center to a secure location contingent to natural disaster. I helped migrate physical and virtual servers and have been given feedback that I ‘excel as a single contributor or as an integral part of complex multi-team projects’. I have also played a key role in enabling Premera to pass their security audit and be certified as a HyTrust company. I possess a sound technical background, and am able to understand and shape the bigger picture, to draw out potential problems and hidden costs. I also believe that I work well with multi-departmental teams, and effectively maintain appropriate system level documentation that are current. I am a skilled mentor and enjoy training both non-technical and technical teams.
