About Troy Ronmark

IT Projects are tough. Understanding what the business wants/needs and effectively translating this to the technical implementation team while managing change and ensuring quality is not a challenge for the faint of heart. I have been doing this since 1991 and I have a passion for it. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with many great people within industry sectors such as Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Upstream/Midstream Oil and Gas and Petrochemicals. I have worked on various flavours of projects such as COTS, Custom Development, Data Warehouse, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Business Process Management (BPM), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in Agile Project environments. As a developer in the early 90s, I quickly recognized the need to better understand business requirements and this led me into the realm of Business Analysis. At the same time, my desire for modelling and generally keeping things organized led me into Architecture. The culmination of Business Analysis and Architecture launched me into roles as a Business Architect. The variety of industries, projects and roles has really helped me to work with and understand the various types of personalities, cultures, business models and technologies out there.
