About Troy Thomson

From professional athlete to working in high paced finance teams and five star hospitality - I have a diverse background in managing portfolio connections as well as working with clients/guests and always improving relationships with both whilst thinking like an entrepreneur. I have a proven ability to pick up and understand complex systems as well as troubleshoot. I have been recognised with numerous awards for my outstanding customer/guest service as well as high productivity recognition in both fields. I have managed over 60 colleagues working in the hospitality field and handle multi tasking very well with a calm yet ‘get it done’ nature. I am a people person and enjoy working with others, collaborating and leading whilst I am also able to and welcome direction. My original passion is basketball in which I have played three seasons professionally as well as 14 seasons semi professionally in Australia. This athletes mind frame has taught me team work, how to set and achieve goals as well as given me an edge to never be satisfied with mediocrity and continue to work hard and improve myself daily.
