A Petrophysicist having more than 16 years of experience in petrophysical interpretation, real time logging and drilling operations. Working in different sedimentary basins like passive margin of east coast (K-G, Cauvery and NEC) of India, Cambay onland rift basin and Mumbai (Bombay) offshore of western India as well as Permian and Appalachian Basins of North America (shale gas plays). My domain of expertise includes LWD and wireline log processing and interpretation, evaluation of various clastic (shaly sand, clean fluvial sand, coarse grain turbidites, complex mineralogical reservoirs etc.), carbonate and unconventional reservoirs along with pore pressure estimation in different types of formations. I have expertise in analysis of laminated shaly sand, multi-mineral analysis and fracture interpretation through image log. My other domain of expertise includes sharp log analysis by calibrating log results with core data. Moreover, I have interpretational experience in various unconventional reservoirs like shale gas plays of Marcellus & Eagle-ford (North America), as well as oil sands and heavy oil reservoirs of Alberta Basin and Venezuela respectively. With strong technical background I can facilitate and co-ordinate effective team work across different disciplines. Worked as a Business Analyst for Shell Techlog Petrophysical workflow development. Presently working as DGM ( Petrophysics) in Raniganj CBM development field & also involved in the shale gas prospectivity evaluation in Barren Measure formation.
