About Trupti Jain

In my professional carrier from 1993, I have worked with Non profits (support and funding organisations), institutions promoted by State Government (Education Department, Women & Child Development, Urban Development and Rural Department Dept of GOG) and founder of a social enterprise. Some of my past major responsibilities are facilitation of livelihood restoring process for women from earth quake affected districts of the state within WLRP under Asian Development Bank. Being the State Director of Mahila Samakhaya Gujarat (under Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India), I was leading the program of “Education for Women’s Equality’ for women across the state with an annual resource outlay of USD 1 million (aprox). As Executive Director in CMAG (Associated with ICMA, Washington DC), I was ensuring capacity building and transparency entrustment of 159 municipalities, six Urban Development Authorities and eight Municipal Corporations of Gujarat in Ministry of Urban Development’s schedule programs and specifically in the area of Solid Waste Management and Climate Change. Being the Team Leader of State Resource Center of MGNREGA, I was extending technical/ knowledge input for proper implementation of one of the largest employment generation program in the world. Being Hon. Director of Naireeta Services (P) ltd, I am creating gender centric climate change mitigating processes for inclusive development for both urban and rural poor women. NSPL is promoting 'Bhungroo', a world bank awarded water irrigation Also a founder of Sustainable Green Initiative Forum, not for profit company, since December 2015. I have been awarded IIM-A Summer LEAD fellowship (2007), Fulbright Scholar at Michigan State University (2012) and Laureate of Asia Pacific region of Cartier Women's Initiative Award (2017).
