Hello, My name is Trysten. I have worked for many different types of medical practices and have involved myself in multiple tasks within the office setting to better understand its functions. I am knowledgeable of both clinical and clerical skills in most practices. I have worked for an Outpatient surgery facility as its scheduler. I have worked medical records as well as checking patients in and out. Insurance verification is one of my strongest skills. I have worked in billing and basic IT. I am well versed in paper charting and EHR systems. I worked back office at Arthritis Consultants for 4 years and I have skills in Infusion placement as well as medication administration. We monitored and handled reactions in a timely manor per office protocol. I was an Assistant to Dr. Christopher Scully and have multiple letters of recommendation. For a time I taugh my skills to future Medical Assistants with Milan Institute. I also instruct future CPR professionals with AHA. I was certified as a BLS Instructor in May 2016 and have taught many classes. I am currently an assistant to Dr. Bud West an ENT surgeon. I coordinate all of his surgeries and multiple facilities. I handle many in office procedures and am extremely well versed in ICD 10 and CPT coding. I have my office CLIA certification as well as CT certificate for a CONE BEAM CT. I am incredibly outgoing and bright. I love all things healthcare, listening to patients and caring for them is what I live for.
