As an experienced quantitative researcher with a deep-seated passion for social sciences, I leverage the power of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence to investigate complex areas such as migration, climate, disinformation, inequality, gender, and social, and public policies. With a forte in studying hard-to-reach groups and managing large-scale international projects, my multi-faceted skill set includes project management, grant acquisition, and comprehensive data management. I also bring a wealth of experience in statistical modelling, consulting, and teaching, utilising an array of statistical programs and a mix of quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies. My keen interest lies at the intersection of ethically and socially responsible use of AI, mixed methods, interdisciplinary studies, and applied research. Over the years, I have cultivated expertise in Computational Sociology, crafting policy recommendations, creating advanced statistical models, and executing meticulous quantitative analysis. Additionally, I specialise in developing innovative methodologies to engage hard-to-reach groups, refining survey methodologies, and providing high-value consulting, training, and teaching services. My programme management acumen extends to encompass effective supervision and coaching, refined communication, and proficient team management. My research interests span migration, refugees, vulnerable groups, education (ECEC and higher education), and public perception and trust studies.
