Tullio Scopigno is Full Professor in Physics at "Sapienza" University of Rome, where he leads the Femtoscopy research group and chairs the Condensed Matter and Photonics courses. His research activities aims at the understanding of fundamental molecular interactions ruling material science (amorphous solids, polymers, 2D materials and related heterostructures) and biosystems (proteins, cells and tissues) using advanced light-matter interaction (spectroscopy and imaging) methods based on non-linear photonics. He is recipient of an ERC-Starting Grant Award (2007) and received funding from EU for >3M Euros from the largest collaborative initiatives such as the Graphene Flagship. He is author of more than 120 publications in the highest rated journals (20 of them in Nature family).
