About Tunch Ozyurt

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Economics, which has equipped me with strong economic principles and analytical skills. My career began at Northwestern University as a lab technician, where I engaged in DNA cloning and published a first-author paper: Ozyurt T and Gautam M, “Differential Epigenetic Signature of Corticospinal Motor Neurons in ALS” (Brain Sciences, 2021).I then interned at Zihni Shipping in Istanbul, where I worked on cash flow statements, translated online advertisements, and handled charter party agreements. This role enhanced my financial analysis, cross-cultural communication, and understanding of the maritime shipping industry, including the Baltic Dry Index.Currently, I'm pursuing a Master's in Shipping Trade and Finance at Bayes Business School, with a new interest in Shipbroking and the Energy sector. As a newcomer to London and the UK, I'm open to connecting.
