I am first and foremost a dad and husband, in addition to that a forester, hunter-gatherer, small-scale forest owner and enthusiastic XC-skier. Currently working with topics related to sustainable forest management, forest certification, stakeholder relations and team leading. I have several years of expertise related to sustainable forest management both in operational and theoretical level. During my time as a manager, environment at UPM Forest we have set several ambitious goals related to forest biodiversity. For example, targets to double the amount of deadwood and broadleaved trees. I have deep knowledge of forest certification. I have been part of both FSC® and PEFC™ standard development groups of Finnish FM standards. I work closely with several different stakeholder groups.
