About Tuomas Kaski

I'm a Product Designer with a knack for transforming complex, abstract ideas into experiences that are simple, usable, and delightful. My career started as a developer, but I shifted to design after realizing the lack of focus on user experience at the company I worked at. Since 2007, I’ve refined my skills in user interface & interaction design, service design, user research, design systems, and interactive prototypes. I strive for clarity in communication—whether it’s presenting ideas to stakeholders or ensuring seamless hand-offs between design and development teams. In recent years, I've grown as a design leader, recruiting and building teams, managing and mentoring, and working with developers to create effective processes. I'm passionate about creating systems, whether it’s designing methods to gamify experiences or developing recommendation logic for personalized user learning paths. My expertise in motivation design, a subject I often lecture on, drives much of my work, and I’m constantly focused on refining processes to create more impactful workflows. I’m always eager to collaborate with driven individuals and explore new depths in the design world.
