Chief Physician of urological pathology at HUS Helsinki University Hospital Academy of Finland Clinical Researcher Principal investigator in the University of Helsinki, Medicum (Faculty of Medicine) and Research Program in Systems Oncology. Biobank coordinator in Helsinki Biobank My areas of expertise are genitourinary (prostate, bladder, kidney, testicular), gastrointestinal and breast pathology. I am actively studying prostate, kidney and bladder cancer and have created a large network of collaborators both nationally and internationally. As a Principal investigator, I am supervising PhD students in the field of prostate, kidney and bladder cancer. The special interests are tissue biomarkers and cancer biology, image analysis (histomics - radiomics) in survival and treatment effect prediction and personalised medicine in urological cancers. Artificial intelligence solutions and digital pathology are of my interests as well and I am leading the digitization of clinical pathology at HUS Diagnostic Center.
