About Tuula Wester

In my current job at THL, I participate to editing implementing acts and specifications. I also participate in EHDS projects (European Health Data Space). I have gained over 20 years experience and knowledge in developing both Oberon and Lifecare patient record systems. In my career I have worked in different roles such as product manager, project manager, system analysist, product specialist, application specialist, software designer and tester. My latest education was on May 2020 when I graduated as a professional IT teacher. During my study leave I spent 6 weeks in New Zealand as an exchange student. I also worked 6 months as a nurse during 2019-2020. Skills- developing new approaches, new services or treatment methods, new productised services, service chains, service networks or service processes- gathering, analysizing and prioritizing requirements of customers, end-users and stakeholders - co-operating with UX-designers by trying to find best solution to solve the needs of customers - producing solution descriptions for offshore agile scrum teams - managering, monitoring and supporting scrum teams during development process - producing productization documents - demonstrating the final product in different events - teaching groups - used to work in English.
