About Twinkle Morgan

Twinkle Morgan is the founding Executive Director of the Cooperman Scholars Program (CCS), a scholarship program targeting academically talented students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. As of 2023, CCS actively serves over 500 Scholars, including just over 430 college-enrolled Scholars and alumni. In 2009, Ms. Morgan’s passion for the issues surrounding college access for underserved communities led her to also develop and launch The Fellowship Initiative (TFI), a JP Morgan Chase & Co. program dedicated towards the expansion of academic and professional opportunities for young men of color. Notable achievements include: 100% of Fellows accepted into four-year colleges, with an average of 9 acceptances per student; and numerous institutional awards and private scholarships awarded included 3 Gates Millennium Scholarships. As Founding Executive Director, Ms. Morgan established TFI’s New York operations in 2010, creating the blueprint for its successful replication across three other US regions in 2014. Prior to her role at TFI, Ms. Morgan served as the Founding Director of Development with Uncommon Schools, a nationally recognized charter management organization focused on starting and managing outstanding charter public schools that aim to close the achievement gap and prepare underrepresented students to graduate college. Before becoming a founding leader of nonprofits, Twinkle was a Vice President, Relationship Manager with JPMorgan Private Bank and a Strategy Consultant with Accenture. When she is not striving to provide access and assistance to college for underrepresented youth, Morgan enjoys spending time with her three children and loving husband in Maplewood, New Jersey.
