About Ty Bru

Ty Brueilly, a 2005 Appalachian State graduate and founder of Mightier Than The Sword Records, Photography & Literature has shifted photography from primarily a hobby, to a more professional level in the last few years. Since that approach in 2010, his photos have been featured in online and physical publications such as National Geographic, used as album artwork for musicians, displayed beside original pieces from Picasso, Goya, Delacroix and Lautrec in galleries around the world from North Carolina to Shanghai and most importantly presented right in the homes of families that have taken an interest and supported his work. His paramount inspiration comes from past travels to twelve countries, mainly trekking to and from Asia, where he now claims residency, encountering several different cultures during each visit, enabling his creative imagination to flourish and bloom, fueling his ambition. Brueilly's most recent visual art series,”Beholder” has been rapidly recognized with positive acclaim since it’s unveiling at an MTTS collegiate lecture in April of 2012 and is scheduled to be displayed at various sites internationally until late 2013/early 2014 with Shanghai, China being the home place of the official commencement and conclusion while LabourLove Gallery (Durham, NC) has been the exclusive North Carolina home for the series.
