About Ty Labenne

Ty Labenne hails from the tall pines and low swamps of Louisiana. A born leader, he has been in long term recovery from alcohol and other drugs since 2008. He has co-created, directed, and opened Residential, Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and Transitional Supportive Living programs from the floor up. Ty lives his life and leads his team with integrity. He has worked Mental Health and Substance Abuse for 11 years in most positions - Executive Director, Administration, Operations, Clinical, Case Management, Family Support, and Transitional Supportive Living. Ty is certified as an addiction professional in the state of Florida (CAP), and certified as a trauma professional (CTP - 200 hours of intensive training). He also maintains his ICADC (Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) designation. Currently, Executive Director at Augustine Recovery - Substance Abuse and Mental Health for Men and Women. Ty is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle that includes challenging oneself daily, eating clean food, and movement on a daily basis. There is an intense commitment to leadership, personal growth and to his recovery, which also involves helping others find their paths to freedom from substance abuse outside of work. He also is a talented multi-instrumentalist with a dedicated interest and knowledge of music past and present. Above all, Ty is absolutely devoted to helping people change their lives and to educate and help navigate families through the healing process.
