About Tyla Alexander
Tyla Alexander is a Sociology major and an Africana Studies minor, as well as apart of the Bodies and Embodiment integrative pathway at Connecticut College. She is dedicated and innovative when striving to advocate for and support women of color rights on campus and ultimately around the world. She does this in her many other leadership positions on campus such as Floor Governor in Residential Education And Living, Writer Liaison and Outreach Committee member of the Womxn’s Empowerment Initiative, and Marketing & Communications Ambassador for the college's Womxn's Center.
