I have a passion for reading, writing and music. These passions have contributed to a great curiosity in education and exploring how I can use my creativity to enhance learning in the classroom. The desire to continue my education and enhance instruction led me to pursuing a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Western Governors University, where I earned the capstone excellence award for outstanding work on my capstone project. In an effort to be able to use my creativity more in my professional life, I am pursuing roles in instructional design and professional development. I believe roles such as these will allow me to pair my instructional skills with my creativity to develop engaging materials for all types of learners. I have recently earned a Master’s degree in Learning Experience Design and Educational Technology at Western Governor’s University.
