About Tyler Crow

As a future marketing, business analytics, and supply chain professional studying at Indiana University, I create success for the organizations I am apart of by promoting people's potential through developing connections and guiding important conversations. Developing connections: My experience as a Resident Assistant prepared me to work with a ride range of people in drastically different situations. Central to this role is understanding how all of the people in a residence hall interact to create a healthy and effective living-learning environment. My role focused on students, but I also often interacted with building management, janitorial staff, parents, and emergency services. Grasping the value that each of these stakeholders had within the community allowed me to actively mediate between many parties and create win-win solutions that fostered a balanced community. Guiding important conversations: As a Teaching Assistant for the main Business Statistics course at IU, I continue to learn ways each year that prepare students for upcoming challenges. When I first started, it was very important that I could break down the technical topics into digestible content that would help students in the course. As I enter my 5th term in this role, I have a much wider grasp on the expectations for students as they progress through university and into their careers. No longer do I just help students with the curriculum, but I also couch them to utilize the key concepts that will appear in future classes as well as future offices.
