About Tyler Diercks

I am from Indianapolis, Indiana where I attended North Central High School. During my four years at North Central, I was apart of the Men's Varsity Swim Team. I was also apart of the newspaper program for my last three years at the school. Over the past 5 summers I have had a job. I started as a lifeguard at the Riviera Swim Club. After two years I was promoted to the head guard position where I was responsible for lifeguards and making sure everything around the pool was up to expectations. I lifeguarded for 4 years before I decided to become the head coach of the North Willow Farms neighborhood swim team. At North Willow Farms I managed three assistant coaches along with 50+ kids with ages ranging from 4-14. Because of the vast age difference I was either teaching kids how to swim or writing sets for my more experienced swimmers everyday. I am currently a student athlete at Bellarmine University where I am apart of the Men's Varsity Swim Team and the Week of Welcome Team. The Week of Welcome Team is a team that helps first year students learn the campus, move into their living spaces, and help them throughout orientation.
