About Tyler Dolan
I am a South African photographer specializing in hyper realism and editorial styled photographs often resulting in colourful and energetic imagery. In 2012 I travelled to the UK exhibiting my Walking the Street series at the AfroVibes festival which consisted of dramatic portraits giving the viewer a powerful insight into Durban street life. In 2013 I travelled to the Netherlands where I exhibited a series of photographs for the annual AfroVibes NL festival as well as gave a lecture on photography as a strobist. I will be going to both the UK and Netherlands this year for my third year as a part of the AfroVibes festival. The joy of photography is creating something beautiful, interesting, or capturing something the eye doesn't usually see.
