About Tyler Gamvrelis

Interested in space, telecommunications, and embedded software. Immersed in all 3 at Kepler Communications, where I'm helping build the internet for space! I graduated from the University of Toronto (U of T) with a Master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2022, with wireless communications as my research area. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate degree in Engineering Science at U of T in 2020, with my major being Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have been involved in numerous embedded systems projects, most of which were implemented on top of real-time kernels. Examples include the "spine"(actuation and sensing systems) of an autonomous humanoid soccer-playing robot, which competed at the 2018 RoboCup International Competition in Montreal, and the data acquisition and control systems for a microgravity experiment which flew with the NRC in August 2018. In addition to embedded systems, I also have taken a particular interest in communication systems.
