About Tyler Harding

I am deeply passionate about public service and driven by a commitment to making a meaningful impact through my work. My values center around equity, inclusivity, and ensuring that every voice is heard in the decision-making process. Throughout my experiences, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to both local and national government efforts. As a Press Intern in the Office of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, I supported the communications team as the primary media monitor for the office and preparing news clips, helping to shape clear and effective messaging at the highest levels of Congress. This role taught me the importance of strategic communication and staying informed on political affairs. At the Office of the Mayor in Chicago, I served as a Press and Communications Intern, where I collaborated with speechwriters, crafted press releases, and engaged the community on key issues through social media. My ability to connect with diverse audiences and deliver impactful messages was further strengthened in this role. I served two terms as the President of the Student Government Association at Columbia College Chicago, representing over 6,500 students. In this role, I worked closely with the college administration to address student needs, led meetings, communicated initiatives, and advocated for transparency and inclusivity within the college. Now, I am seeking opportunities that allow me to further contribute to public service and governmental initiatives. I’m excited to bring my skills in communication, leadership, and strategic thinking to a role where I can continue making a positive impact in government and politics.
