About Tyler Hoffman

Growing up, I would spend my days and nights in the Appalachian Mountains where I would study local flora and fauna with my field guides and attempt to grasp how the world worked. I quickly realized that this passion for working in conservation was not a desire that would soon wane for me. Because of my deep interest in conservation, and thanks to a host of excellent mentors in my life, I obtained a bachelor’s in environmental studies from Pennsylvania State University. Upon obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I began an eco-professional journey that would lead me to developing a diverse portfolio that showcases my aptitude for conservation-related work, business management, and marketing. My experiences have ranged from managing a bed and breakfast called Whitetail Wetlands located on 500 acres of conservation land to assisting Lancaster farm owners in preserving their farms in perpetuity with Lancaster Farmland Trust. In addition to these two excellent employers, I had the privilege to be trained and work alongside a number of highly-skilled park managers during my time with the Bureau of State Parks, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Currently, I work at PA Farm Link where I oversee event planning, marketing design, and fundraising efforts for this wonderful nonprofit. Outside of work, my interests include hiking, skiing, reading, baking, hang gliding, and exploring the hidden gems of Pennsylvania. I had the pleasure of becoming a professional model and the honor of completing 5 egg donations for couples all over the world. In recent years, I have moved to Camp Hill, gotten married, and started a family. We greatly enjoy the town in which we reside and always look forward to starting our next outdoor adventure.
