About Tyler Jaffe

Process systems engineer with a masters in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University who is passionate about making an impact in the energy and space markets through process optimization and modeling. I work on formulating and solving large flowsheet optimization problems for power generation processes with and with out carbon capture systems for low costs designs to supply energy to electrical grids. I also work on building software that is aimed at designing, optimizing, and controlling water treatment and recovery processes for energy systems. I enjoy using my mathematical modeling skills to implement new linear and mixed integer linear programming techniques through python for applications that have the potential to impact the energy market. I have a proven track record of utilizing optimization and supervised learning techniques to build models and solve optimization problems.
