About Tyler Logan

I am a senior-level Public Health, Behavioral Health, Equity and Philanthropy Consultant who leads communities and organizations through data-driven, community-centered strategies for addressing equity and social justice in culturally-responsive ways. Managing or evaluating projects supported by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, CDC Foundation, US Department of Refugees and Immigrants, and other BIPOC-serving organizations, I've built a unique toolset to identify how socio-environmental, historical, and systemic factors affect the wellbeing of BIPOC communities, while working with philanthropic and nonprofit organizations to find innovative equitable solutions that directly address them. I lead projects focusing on the intersections of culturally responsive engagement, equity, and community & philanthropic leadership. My community-centered facilitative tools allow me to engage with diverse populations and stakeholders to develop, implement, evaluate, and advocate for equitable policies, strategies, or programs that advance equity, particularly in BIPOC communities. In addition to my work at MPHI, I have also been a leader at the State Health Department, CDC Foundation, Wayne State University, University of Michigan, and Michigan State University. People who work with me often speak to my ability to navigate challenging conversations with diverse and/or vulnerable communities.
