About Tyler Longwell

I have had the pleasure of working at Microsoft for the last seven years. I am most proud of the work I contributed to Microsoft’s digital transformation within the security sector. Working in program development with regards to technology and change management has been particularly fascinating to me. However, my passion is in process development and training. I believe wholeheartedly in maximizing production through developing positive relationships between personnel and the technology they use day in and day out. I believe in building self-sufficient, self-driven teams that are critical thinking problem-solvers and not dependent on leadership to micromanage them. I derive the most joy from my work when interacting with team members and seeing them grow as professionals. I believe that work ethic is an evolution of character throughout your entire career. We cannot be completely evolved until our time in the workforce is through. My passion is to help each individual towards their maximum potential. I am a problem solver and I enjoy finding simple solutions to complex situations. I am eager for new challenges and run towards problems instead of away from them. I do my best work when I am allowed freedom to brainstorm and think outside the box. Often times, I can bring a fresh set of eyes to recurring or systemic issues, and then help develop new ways of solving them. I enjoy working as a team player. I love it when a play comes together! Interpersonal relationships and collaboration are important to me. I am a natural communicator and I excel in situations where team effort is a sure way to success.
