My name is Tyler Lutz, and I am a cybersecurity professional with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Technology, specializing in Cybersecurity. I completed my degree at Illinois State University in May 2023, where I also had the honor of leading the Rocket League Esports Club. In addition to my recent degree, I have a strong educational background in cybersecurity, including coursework at St. Louis Community College and St. Charles Community College, where I honed my Linux skills. My professional journey began at Caterpillar, where I joined their cybersecurity efforts as an intern in May 2022. Recognizing my dedication and skills, I was offered a part-time position that I continued while pursuing my bachelor's degree. I later transitioned to a full-time role as an IT Analyst I - Applications, working in Caterpillar's Incident Response and Data Loss Prevention team in June 2023. In this role, I apply my analytical skills and cybersecurity expertise to identify and mitigate potential data breaches. Throughout my academic and professional career, I've developed a strong skill set in cybersecurity, IT operations, data analysis, and account management. I am highly detail-oriented and thrive under pressure, excelling in complex tasks and managing multiple projects effectively.
