As an information systems major at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University I pride myself on being a Motivated Leader, Adaptive and Perseverant, as well as having a Proactive Work Ethic. Adaptable Problem Solver: Studying abroad in Kyoto, Japan was a pivotal experience that taught me to embrace the unfamiliar and think on my feet. Immersing myself in a completely new culture, I learned how to communicate effectively across language barriers, navigate unexpected challenges, and adapt to a fast-changing environment. These experiences sharpened my problem-solving abilities and enhanced my flexibility in both personal and professional settings—skills that I’m eager to apply in a globally connected business world. Motivated Leader: As Vice President of Finance for Sigma Phi Epsilon, I was responsible for overseeing financial operations for a chapter of nearly 200 members. This role required strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective communication to ensure smooth operations. By collaborating with an executive board and balancing competing priorities, I learned to lead by example, motivate my peers, and stay results-driven even under pressure. Proactive Innovator: Whether working as an Event Director at Kilroy’s Sports Bar or interning at Arcis Golf, I’ve always taken a hands-on approach to solving problems and improving processes. From managing large-scale events to implementing CRM systems and developing social media strategies, I consistently seek ways to create value and drive positive outcomes. My ability to stay ahead of the curve and take initiative has been key to my success in both my academic and professional endeavors.
