About Tyler McLean

Innovation, Science, IT All of these things have the same core principal behind them. The drive to push forward in the face of the unknown. The desire to build ideas and products that can surpass even the wildest of imaginations. So who wouldn't want to work in a field so full of potential and mystery? As a software developer for a large automotive manufacturer, I get the opportunity to help further advance how we build vehicle parts and in turn vehicles, in today's society. Sure, some products that get built won't "change the world", but I am still a part of a team that's looking for the next advancement to make our automation just *that* much better. On top of it all, work in this field basically gives you a blank canvas and compels you to think outside the box. Where there are often multiple solutions for the same problem and the only limit is your creativity and critical thinking. I have been a happy part of this community since about age 10, when my mind was just limited to making a game for my friends to play. Now, it's hard not to see the world in algorithms, constantly challenging your mind to think about how you might program the behaviour (as long as there is at least some determinism in the pattern). This is my reality. A world in code
