I have deep experience in all aspects of the Healthcare system with a complimentary focus of 18 years in the Behavioral Health space. Areas of core expertise include service and clinical strategy, operations control, Utilization Review, Case/Care Management, Back Office & Claims, Workforce Management forecasting & planning, Appeals, Quality, Accreditation, Affordability, IT, Fraud Waste and Abuse, Benefit loading, Employee Assistance Programs, Enrollment, & Eligibility, Provider Data Management, Program Management, Client Management and Training. My extensive operations and leadership background is complimented with a personal passion to make systems of care work more efficiently for patients and providers alike. I’ve led several large transformation, growth, and cost reduction initiatives at United Health Group and Optum which have led to stronger operating models, improved clinical outcomes, and deeper market share. I am a U.S. Navy veteran and live in Houston Texas with my wife of 20 years, two daughters, and 3 dogs.
