About Tyler Morrow

As a future health educator I recently wrote my philosophy on health education. Health is more than just physical health, it also means mental, social, spiritual, and emotional health. I chose the field of health education because I have a passion for making a difference and helping people achieve their goals. I view health education as a major tool to promote easy access to health for every person and community. To use this tool, health education must promote health equality. Health education should be able to address the social and political factors that influence health. As a future health educator, I should provide an environment in which people of all kinds feel safe and accepted while in my presence. I should provide adequate knowledge and tools so that people can implement positive behavioral changes in their daily life. As a future health educator, I must recognize the culture, values, and beliefs of other people. I must have commitment to respect others. As a future health educator, I must help with the health needs of a growing diverse population and help reduce the ever-growing health disparities in our nation. As a future health educator, I plan to provide helpful information that a person needs, but I will not force them to change. I want to focus on prevention and help people prepare for a healthy future. My goal as a future health educator, is to inform people on how to reach their goals and improve their daily life. I plan to implement these healthy behaviors in my daily life as well. I want to set an example for the people I work with and for. As a future health educator, I must be supportive and encouraging to my client. I believe that health is the strongest form of wealth. I firmly believe that when someone lives a healthy life there are more opportunities for them to explore this amazing world and accomplish anything they desire. I will strive to be the best and attain more knowledge so I can provide adequate care to people. I believe if I dedicate myself for a lifelong pursuit of knowledge and with the growth of myself, I know I can help improve the outcomes of people and their life.
