Background

About Tyler Pederson

I am a junior at the University of Delaware, pursuing degrees in Accounting and finance with an expected graduation date of May 2026. This busy season I will be joining Horty & Horty P.A. in Dover, Delaware as a tax intern. I hope to learn more about working with clients, assisting with tax returns and gaining proficiency in different tax related software. I have completed multiple market related projects in my time at the University of Delaware, including working with Mountaineer Logistics to track and improve carbon emissions in their delivery service. With another notable project being market research to find the relation between Goodwill Spending and Financial prosperity in the retail sector. Finally, I worked with churches throughout the state of Delaware to conduct audits, reviewing and revising their financial documents to ensure all funds were accounted for throughout the year and G.A.A.P. standards were followed. I hope to continue to learn and grow over my next year and a half leading up to graduation, as well as the years after.
