I am currently embarking on an exciting and challenging path, juggling a full-time position as a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst at Exchange Technology Services with my studies in the Business Information Technology (BIT) program at Red River College Polytechnic. Driven by a fervent passion for technology and a dedicated commitment to protecting digital infrastructures, my career in IT is off to a promising start. Despite being early in my journey, I am eager to tackle upcoming challenges and advance in the cybersecurity field. In my role at Exchange Technology Services, I serve as a key player in cyber defence. My responsibilities include monitoring networks and systems, detecting security breaches, and being an integral part of the incident response team. This role has provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in threat detection, analysis, and the practical application of cybersecurity principles in real-world scenarios.
