About Tyler Rampey

With over nine years of experience in the mortgage and finance industry, I am currently an Investigator II at National Futures Association, the self-regulatory organization for the U.S. derivatives industry. In this role, I conduct examinations and investigations of NFA members, such as commodity pool operators, commodity trading advisors, swap dealers, and futures commission merchants, to ensure compliance with NFA rules and federal regulations. I also review and analyze financial statements, disclosures, trading records, and other documents to identify and report any potential violations or risks. Some of the skills that I use and enhance in this position include credit analysis, loans, residential mortgages, financial accounting, and NMLS licensing. I am passionate about protecting the integrity and transparency of the derivatives markets, and contributing to the public trust and confidence in the industry. I hold a Master of Science in Finance from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Springfield. I am motivated by learning new things, solving problems, and collaborating with diverse and talented teams.
