Background
About Tyler Robinson
Passionate Community Advocate | Mental Health & Addiction Services | Program Development & Leadership For over a decade, I have been dedicated to supporting some of our community’s most vulnerable individuals, including youth, families, young fathers, and Indigenous communities. My experience spans working with adolescents facing challenges such as homelessness, addiction, concurrent disorders, intergenerational trauma, and parenting. Currently, I serve as the Supervisor of Batchewana First Nation’s Community Wellness Team, where I oversee the daily operations of the mental health and addiction services team. In this leadership role, I manage a team of 10 dedicated staff members, provide strategic direction, and oversee budget-related matters to ensure the sustainability and growth of our programs. I also liaise with government funding sources to secure resources that support the well-being of our community. In addition to my supervisory responsibilities, I continue to provide psychotherapy to Batchewana community members, offering direct support that aligns with my passion for fostering healing and resilience. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to creating meaningful and measurable outcomes through my skills, positive energy, and enthusiasm for change. I believe that building strong, trusting relationships with clients is at the core of effective service delivery, and I find this aspect of my work to be both fulfilling and reflective of my values. I am always eager to collaborate, innovate, and contribute to the development of programs that empower individuals and strengthen communities. Let’s connect to explore opportunities to work together and make a lasting impact.
