About Tyler Roth

I’m a licensed attorney in Virginia and Washington DC. As a litigator, I’ve served as lead counsel in hundreds of cases involving a diversity of legal issues and areas of law. This includes criminal misdemeanor and felony cases, breach of contract matters, landlord-tenant disputes, consumer protection actions, and protective orders. I have appeared in numerous jurisdictions including state and federal courts throughout Virginia. In my current role, I primarily serve as outside general counsel to a variety of businesses located throughout the country; counseling these businesses on intellectual property rights (copyright and trademark), corporate compliance, employment regulations, data privacy, and litigation matters. Additionally, I routinely serve as counsel in multiple litigations concurrently before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Lastly, I occasionally serve as local counsel principally before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria Division, for other firms requiring expertise in navigating the pitfalls of the “Rocket Docket” and its local civil rules.
