About Tyler Shultz

Hello, My career in the HVAC field started early 2001 while I worked with a small residential outfit my senior year of high school. In March of 2003 I was presented the opportunity to work with at the time Colonial Mechanical and also join their apprenticeship program. I eagerly accepted and started technical training for HVAC soon after. After completing the apprenticeship program I was promoted to an Engineered Systems Service Technician. During my role as a service technician I worked primarily on medium to large buildings and systems. This provided me with an advance knowledge of HVAC systems/equipment and overall building operations. My knowledge of building systems in conjunction with my background working with computers and being a computer science hobbyists led to my career path shifting towards Building Automation. Mid September of 2013 I transferred to our BAS department where I found a new passion. I'm very passionate about not only providing customers with a great product but to also provide a means of saving money by being energy concious! Providing a user freindly BAS solution that controls our customer's comfort demand effectively and efficiently is my goal! Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to hearing from you!
