About Tyler Stein

I've always enjoyed conceptual design and the cleverness associated with thinking of a different way to achieve an objective. The endless potential to design something for a specific purpose and then the ability to create something. Growing up I watched my dad design/build equipment for his landscaping business and garden and that attracted me to become a mechanical engineer after college. I attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After almost a decade in the aerospace industry I didn't truly see myself getting any further ahead with my personal financial goals and I started to wonder what strategies were available to reach them specific to how I wanted to live. After learning about how Edward Jones conducts business I realized that I wasn't alone in my questions. I believe in how they do business because people are not the same and a solution for one may not be the solution for another. In this regard the conceptual design process was very similar to what I had experienced as an engineer and it made me want to become a financial advisor. I joined Edward Jones in 2019 as a financial advisor and my wife Laura, and daughter relocated to Cushing, OK. My goal has been to help others achieve theirs.
