About Tyler Stephens

I am a fresh college graduate with lots of experience in the academic field of computer science looking to get a start in the industry. The main caveat I have is that I want to work with a team that has years of experience so I may be able to learn from peers that have been in the industry. My previous work experiences include a time where he worked at the Hilton Hotel as a Front Desk Associate. I originally being a shy person would often find myself struggling when talking to other people but thanks to my time as a front desk associate, I was forced to communicate with various people from all over the United States. I had to this on a daily basis which led to me quickly getting over my communication woes. In this role I was responsible for the quick resolution of any problems the guest may run into as well as ensuring they get checked in to their room, all accommodations were met, and if I found any of the guests to being rowdy or unagreeable I would find myself deescalating the situation and seeing if there was any way I could help the situation. I am now on the job hunt where I continue my education through Linked In learning, continue practicing coding in languages such as C# or Java, and even do coding challenges on websites such as Hacker Rank.
