About Tyler Thomas

Dedication fosters growth. I am an alumni of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis who studied Management while focusing on Business through the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). Studying three years at Indiana University Bloomington before transferring to IUPUI helped me develop a passion to improve academically and professionally. I have displayed diligence and learned the value of perseverance necessary for success in my education through experiences in high school and college. Notably, switching from basic English to an Advanced Placement course and receiving a five on the AP exam in high school crafted my work-ethic and showed me that with great dedication, comes even greater achievement. I have also developed many professional business skills through business communications and management courses in college. Skill development in strategic planning, product development/diversification, and collaboration will play a beneficial role in my career. Additional involvement in extracurricular activities includes my experience Freshman year of college as a member of Foster Conduct Board, and competing in Intramural Basketball with friends. Since freshman year, personal accolades include maintaining a 3.5 cumulative GPA and being placed on SPEA’s Dean’s List each semester. I am absolutely certain that my integrity in personal development and helping others, as well as my skills in business communication and management will allow me to become an accomplished leader in the professional world.
