About Tyler Thomas

I have a varied professional background including HR, Training, Sales, Construction and Customer Service. The last being the common denominator in all professional endeavors and the one on which I place the highest emphasis. However, ‘customer’ is almost a demeaning term. We’re all humans that rely on each other and exchange goods and services of an expected quality, and I believe any worthwhile venture is dependent on worthwhile people. I speak Spanish fluently, and am enamored with languages, etymology, and communication in general. Connecting with people of diverse backgrounds and gaining varied perspectives is, in my opinion, the “secret sauce” of life. I love to golf and ride my banana board in addition to sharpening my (somewhat dull) drawing skills and (objectively better) written typography. I am a firm believer in progressive-thinking, and the idea that technology is exponentially transforming the landscape of business. Although it may be true that some things will always remain the same, I believe Benjamin Franklin succinctly sums it up- “when you’re finished changing, you’re finished.”
