About Tyler Tran

I was born in Vietnam and lived in the Orange County, California in the last nine years. I graduated from the University of California, Irvine at California with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science in 2014. After graduating from UCI, I started working as director assistant at Coverking Inc. I handled product budgets and labor costs, inspected products before shipment, and coordinated with managers and directors for business ideas. I also directed coworkers efficiently to reach the target goal more quickly. While at Coverking Inc, I took a second job as a lab technician at Glidewell Laboratory. I organized data in the system and collaborated with other people. Not long after working at Glidewell Laboratory, Behr Process Corporation offered me a lab technician position. I achieved a long-term successful career by gaining strong business knowledge and good communication skills with team networking capabilities to increase my value and benefit to the company. I am passionate about pursuing an MBA in my career because MBA classes will teach me the leadership, management, organization, and communication skills I need to bolster my future career. I is interesting in Business Analytics concentration with minor in Finance. After completing MBA with Business Analytics concentration, I can use business knowledge and skills to grow my value in companies in the future. Finally, I reach to my ultimate goal that I go to School of Pharmacy to gain my PharmD degree in the future. After I graduated from LECOM School of Pharmacy, I started working at Publix since 2019 as a retail pharmacist. During that time, I obtained some licenses and certificates to become a clinical pharmacist at a long-term care pharmacy and nursing homes.
