About Tyler Varga

I am a motivated individual that has a passion for UAV and R/C aircraft. I enjoyed my time at Carleton University where I had a chance to work as part of the Rotorywing UAV Team in my final year. As a group of 20 students we worked to take a R/C helicopter and modify it to be fully autonomous for search and rescue. I have since graduated and enjoyed working as a Design specialist were I added to my knowledge of Avionics and control systems. Working as a Design specialist I worked with a team of 6 to support the Flight management system product line. This included design of new hardware to replace obsolete components and troubleshooting to solve problems. Outside of work I am outside biking, running or at the Arnprior Radio Control Club improving my skills as a R/C pilot for both Helicopters and Airplanes. when the weather is poor i enjoy watching movies with my roommates and friends and playing strategy boardgames. I also enjoy completing simple tasks around the house such as yard work or small repairs to keep everything in order.
