About Tyler Wagner

I’m a Software Development enthusiast. I’ve been obsessed with programming from an early age and have a unique aptitude for software development. I frequently spend my free time programming as it's my passion. I love challenges, and I’ve found working as a developer has afforded many opportunities to build and apply not only my skills as a developer, but my critical thinking, communications, project structuring, research, and a myriad of other soft skills. I’ve known that this line of work is what I’m destined to do, and love every minute of it (even the frustrating ones). I look at every obstacle I come across as an opportunity to grow and learn new ways to handle overcoming similar obstacles that I may face in the future. Being early in my career I’ve already come a long way and grown a lot as a developer and a person. I love to learn, and in this line of work I learn new and exciting things every day. I don’t think I’ll ever stagnate, because developing software is an ever evolving process with a seemingly infinite sea of knowledge to learn. I always take responsibility for my actions and analyze my situation to make the right decisions. My time in the Army taught me invaluable skills, such as being able to stay calm in any situation and to operate effectively under pressure. I also have the ability to research answers to common questions on my own, and to know how long to spend looking for answers on my own before asking colleagues for advice. I love to talk about all things software related, and am always looking for new connections and professionals to both talk with and learn from.
