About Tyler Walker

With a diverse background spanning auto racing, basketball, hospitality, procurement and supply management, management consulting, and SaaS sales, I am a firm believer in the power of hard work and networking to propel one's career. As someone who can connect the dots and see the interdependencies in the world, I strive to be the change I want to see. Originally from Niagara Falls, New York, I have had the privilege of traveling extensively throughout the USA and Canada, fulfilling my dream of being a professional racer and winning numerous championships. Starting as a Guest Service Agent in the hospitality industry at age 18, I developed a passion for learning about different cultures, religions, and ideas, which has fueled my commitment to ethical behavior worldwide. During a student exchange program in 2016, I fell in love with Southeast Asia while studying at Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Living with Vietnamese roommates who spoke a different language taught me that despite our differences, we share more similarities than we realize. This experience opened my eyes to the endless possibilities found in densely populated cities. Taking a leap of faith, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2018, a decision that has proven to be the best one I ever made. Prior to joining Ethico, I worked as a consultant focusing on organizational design, supplier diversity, and supporting women and minority-owned businesses. In 2020, I contributed to the launch of the International Slumber Party, a virtual experience benefiting young women of color globally. Driven by a desire to support individuals and organizations, I leverage my diverse network and share valuable information. Joining Ethico in 2021, I am dedicated to supporting ethics, compliance, and human resource leaders. At Ethico, we prioritize culture, striving to make the world a better workplace.
