About Tyler Walls

Hello, my name is Tyler Walls and I am a Mechanical Engineer from Colorado school of Mines and Solutions Engineer from Meadowlark Optics. I work for Meadowlark Optics as a Solutions Engineer where I am tasked to quickly learn and become well versed in the engineering being performed in the field of plano optics so that I can actively pursue new and custom opportunities with customers. I work directly with customers to customize polarization, retardance, and reflectance on custom made parts. My job requires me to quickly learn and adapt to new opportunities, while also being able to engage with potential customers in a specific field such as Polarization Optics. My past work experience is as a Sophomore in college, I did a Virtual Internship with Kiewit Construction as a Design Build Estimating Intern. As the pandemic pushed us all home, Kiewit provided their interns with a Virtual Program which allowed us to work with others around the world on multiple simultaneous projects. My Junior year I was able to do another internship with Kiewit Construction as a Design Build Estimator. Since this internship was in person, I was also able to get exposure to Construction Engineering Services and Design Engineering Services within Kiewit.
