Background
About Tyler Williams
The man that has mentored me since I was a teenager once told me that one of the best things that you can be is consistently faithful. He said,"If you make a committment, consistently show up and do whatever you're doing well." I’ve taken that mindset into every position that I’ve held in my seven years of work experience. That advice has also served me well because I love creating and analyzing systems. I'm passionate about finding the holes in the basket, the places where things can slip through the cracks, and figuring out the best way to fix them. It's really hard to analyze, criticize, and create solutions for systems when you don't stick around long enough to learn what they are. Though I've only worked for two companies over the course of seven years (I held four positions with my first employer over 4+ years), I think that my employers would agree that I've spent my time well.In my current position (I work in the emergency dispatch center of a company that provides, services and monitors emergency phones), I've been priveleged enough to sit under leaders who are open to feedback and constructive criticism. Because of this, I've been able to work with them to improve systems such as hour after hours service flow chart, and standardize the way our emergency dispatchers communicate while on-station to ensure that we are effectively and efficiently responding as a team to potentially life-threatening situations.I feel the need to take ownership of everything in my world and feel a personal charge to - in the simplest possible terms - find the best way to do things that will lead to success for the team. Systems create structure. Structure builds discipline. Discipline leads to success. I want to do everything that I can to make sure my team succeeds.
